About This Tour
Your adventure begins with incredible views of the Dominican countryside as we head toward the fishing village of Punta Rucia. From there, you will board a speedboat and cross over to Cayo Arena, a stunning natural sandbank widely known as Paradise Island. You will be welcomed by pristine turquoise waters and powdery white sands. Sink your toes into the sand, soak up the sun, or join an optional guided snorkeling excursion to marvel at the colorful marine life and vibrant coral gardens.
While relaxing on the island, you will be treated to a selection of fresh tropical fruits and refreshing beverages. The adventure continues as you hop back on the speedboat to cruise through the thick mangrove forests of Monte Cristi National Park, looking out for abundant wildlife in the beautiful lagoons and natural channels. ℹ️ Important Information
Sun Protection is Crucial: Cayo Arena is a natural sandbank in the middle of the ocean with very limited shade. Please bring reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
Swimwear & Towels: Wear your swimsuit under your clothes, and bring a towel and a change of dry clothes for the ride back.
Footwear: Sandals or water shoes are highly recommended for walking on the sandbank and exploring the coral reefs.
